Police forces carried out concurrent house raids to the accompaniment of helicopters in the southern province of Adana early Saturday morning.

Following detailed searches in all the targeted houses, a number of HDP executives have been taken into custody, including HDP Adana provincial co-chair Hüseyin Beyaz, HDP Seyhan district co-chair Suzan Kılıç, HDP Adana provincial administrator İbrahim Yakut and HDP Seyhan district Council member Saniye Seçgin.

The detained HDP members have been taken to Adana police headquarters after a health check at Forensic Medicine Institute.
