Many observers prevented from watching counting of votes

Police is preventing people from assisting to counting operation.

Here a list of violations reported after 5 pm (Turkish time):

* The roads to the Supreme Election Board (YSK) building in Ankara were closed with trucks.

* Anittepe Anatolian High School, which is one of the voting centres in Ankara, is blocked by police barricades which are preventing observers from entering the centre.

* Observers wanting to enter Ankara Sincan Andiçen Secondary School to watch over counting procedures were prevented to enter by police.

* The doors of Ali Kuşçu Primary School in Istanbul Bağcılar were closed and voters and observers who wanted to follow the counting operation were not allowed to enter.

* At Cengizhan Anatolian High School, in Kâğıthane's Celiktepe, some people who tried to cast votes after the closing of polls attacked ballot officers.

* In Istanbul Esenler, doors were closed in Ayvalıdere primary school. It was announced that no one other than the observers would be allowed into the school.

* Aziz Mahmud Hüdayi Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in Istanbul Üsküdar is not allowing people who want to follow the counting to enter the premises.

* Istanbul Acıbadem 60th Year Anatolian Primary School: police locked the school's door; voters who want to follow the count are not allowed in.

* The district election board building in Şişli, Istanbul, was blocked by police.

* While counting procedures began in Adana, the police expelled citizens from the school gardens and threatened the HDP observers saying "we know who your representatives are ".

In the Zorava village of Van's central Tuşba district, gendarmerie command allegedly said they would count vote themselves before delivering them to YSK.

Yali Hybrid borough of Van Ipekyolu town: Turkey Bar Association (TBB) were prevented by police to do their job as observers and taking part in the voting procedure. It was later learned that the police had attacked with pepper spray and pressurized water the people waiting in front of the school.

On the other hand, Kevenli TOKİ, Nene Hatun, Van Lake and Fevzi Deer high schools were reported to have experienced the same problems.  It was noted that lawyers would object to YSK.

In Hakkari, it was stated that several schools started counting operation watched by the police.

In Bitlis' Tatvan district, it was stated that in some schools, after polls were closed, the police said no one could enter and watch counting procedures.
