A march will take place in the Federal Kurdistan Region on Wednesday in protest the assaults on the region by Turkey and Iran. Many Non-governmental organizations, political parties, intellectuals, writers and journalists made a press release declaring that they will attend the demonstration.
Spokesman Niyaz Abdullah explained the reasons for the march. "We will begin with a march to the United Nations building. Our first aim is put pressure on Iran and Turkey to stop their assaults and to respect our borders. Our second aim is to warn the Kurdistan Federal Government about these assaults. Our third aim is to call on the UN and the international community to put pressure on Iran and Turkey to stop their cross-border raids."
Abdullah said that they are calling all citizens in Kurdistan to protest Turkey and Iran's actions against the Kurdish People.
