Demonstrations in solidarity with Kurdish hunger strike activists continue all around Europe.
Marches were held in the cities of Berlin and Stuttgart to draw attention to the hunger strike resistance demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Berlin
The isolation against the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was protested in Berlin at a march organised by Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Cîvanên Shoreşger).
In the statement read at the march the hunger strike resistance was commended and the silence about is was condemned.
The EU, European Parliament, CPT and all relevant institutions and organizations were urgently called to fulfill their responsibilities.
The silence gathered in Bernauerstr chanting slogans in support of HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven and the 7000 prisoners on hunger strike.
Stuttgart
In Stuttgart the march was organised by the ‘Life against isolation Platform’. Activists gathered in Schlosplatz where an information stand was also opened.
The Platform will organised new actions and stands on Monday 29 April, Monday 3 May and Monday 6 May to support Leyla Güven and the hunger strikers.
The Platform also called on people to join the next actions to be organised from 4 to 6 pm.
