The Martyr Baz Mordem and Helbest Koçerîn Revenge Units announced that they have carried out an action in the neighbourhood of Xaçort in Van in memory of the guerrillas who were killed as a result of the chemical attacks by the Turkish state.
The "Martyr Baz Mordem and Helbest Koçerîn Revenge Units" said that they carried out an action in the neighbourhood of Xaçort in Van and kept the neighbourhood under control for a while.
In a written statement, the Units said: “The Martyr Baz Mordem and Helbest Koçerîn Revenge Units took control of the road in the neighbourhood of Xaçort in Van at 10pm on 30 October 2022 and used sound bombs and fireworks against the enemy forces who wanted to intervene. After the action, the enemy forces had to move away from the neighbourhood. Our units, which kept the neighbourhood under control for a while, then ended the action.
This action was carried out in memory of comrades who fell as martyrs as a result of the chemical weapons attacks carried out by the Turkish state in the Avaşîn area. Our actions against the dirty war methods and war crimes carried out by the enemy against the guerrillas will continue everywhere. Both of our units have left the scene safely.”
