A meeting was held in the capital Yerevan about Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

At the meeting the role of the Abdullah Öcalan and the regime of isolation imposed on him by the Turkish state in Imralı prison were discussed.

The encounter was organized by the Kurdistan Committee, Şêwra Yêkîtiya Kurdên Ermenistan yê Netew and Yekîtiya Jinên Azad.

A number of Armenian Kurds, as well as Armenian intellectuals, joined the event.
