The co-president of Kobanê canton, Xalid Berkel, and the co-president of the legislative assembly, Fuziye Ebdî, organised a meeting with the people in Kobanê at which they informed the people what they have to do against ISIS attacks.

As the resistance of Kobane continues against the attacks of ISIS gangs, the government is organising meetings with the people in order to inform them about actions to be taken against the ISIS attacks.

Many people joined the public meeting organised in the Kanîya Kûrda neighbourhood. The co-president of the legislative assembly, Fûzîye Ebdî, issuing a statement at the public meeting, emphasised that the people of Kobanê have to strengthen their unity against the attacks of the inhuman ISIS gangs.

Recalling that there has been similar defences of the homeland throughout history, the co-president Fûzîye Ebdî expressed her belief that the people of Kobanê will carry out their historic responsibility.

The deputy co-president of Kobanê, Xalid Berkel, participated at the meeting with the gun which he carries, saying that the ISIS gangs will never enter Kobanê.

Stating that “the barbaric ISIS gangs will never be able to take a step in Kobanê,” the deputy co-president Xalid Berkel wanted the people to be aware and to be organised against the ISIS gangs. The meeting ended after the questions of the people were answered, with the slogans “long live the resistance of Kobanê.”
