Middle East Conference by HDK

People’s Democratic Congress (HDK) will hold a “Middle East Conference” in Istanbul on 20-21 October.

The conference which will address the subject of “people’s seek for justice and freedom and interventions on them” will be attended by representatives from Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Syria and many other countries.

“Arab Popular Movements and the Future of Struggles”, “Regional Dynamics of Today and Struggle of Palestinian People” and “Political Islam and External Interventions as People Wake Up” will the main titles to be discussed on the first day of the conference at Boðaziçi University.

Egypt Communist Party, Tunisian Laborers Party, FHKC and representatives of parties and organizations from other Arab countries will also make a speech on the first day.

With the participation of representatives of Iranian Laborer Party as well as DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chair Ahmet Türk and Kurdish representatives from Kurdistan, the congress will on the second day address the subjects of “Developments in Syria, External Interventions and Turkey’s Politics” and “Kurdish Freedom Struggle amidst Regional Developments”.
