Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement about the Turkish state’s attack against the Sheladize people who protested yesterday against the Turkish attacks and military presence in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

The statement said: “We will summon the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad to the Ministry and hand him a letter expressing our disturbance regarding the destruction caused by the Turkish State’s attacks. We make a call on Turkey. Iraq is responsible for the safety of its people, and opposes any and all attacks that violate the sovereignty of the country.”
