Eight more prisoners in Giresun E Type Closed Prison have joined the hunger strike of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Women’s Liberation Party (PAJK) which has been going on since September 12.
Eight prisoners announced through their families an indefinite and non-alternate hunger strike on Wednesday in protest against the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and obstacles to the right to mother language.
Prisoners remarked that they will continue their act until their demands are fulfilled by the AKP government which- they underlined- should be responsible for any consequences.
