More than 100 casualties during the shipwreck in the Mediterranean Sea

At least 107 refugees died and only 4 people survived during the shipwreck in the Mediterranean Sea near the coast of Libya last night.

The Italian Coast Guard announced that more than 100 refugees died and only 4 people survived during the shipwreck in the Mediterranean Sea 50 kms away from the coast of Libya last night.

Survivors of the shipwreck stated that the ship left Libya with 107 people on board, and search and rescue teams were able to retrieve the bodies of 8 casualties so far.

800 refugees had been saved on Thursday and 550 refugees had been saved on Friday between Libya and Italy.
