Mothers confirmed they will be in Esenyurt square today

The mothers confirmed they will be in Esenyurt square today, Friday.

Mothers of the prisoners on hunger strike demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Öcalan gathered in Esenyurt Square despite the police harassment.

The mothers said they will continue their action despite the police harassment because, they said, the hunger strike resistance needs the support of everyone.

The mothers have been organising the action in support of the hunger strikers for 15 days. They meet in front of the HDP Esenyurt Provincial building, but as every day, police was heavily present and harassing the mothers in different way. The police actually surrounded the mothers with TOMA and armoured vehicles and removed everyone coming next to show solidarity with the mothers.
