An organized attack on Moscow's 'Crocus City Hall' concert hall, which was claimed by ISIS, claimed the lives of dozens of people on Friday.
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) announced that at least 93 people died in the attack, while at least 100 people were injured. The Russian Ministry of Health reported that 60 of the wounded were in serious condition.
According to reports, 11 people were detained in connection with the attack.
The Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) made a statement condemning the terrorist attack and expressing condolences to the people of Russia.
"This attack proves that terrorism continues to threaten world peace. We emphasise once again that international powers must cooperate in the fight against ISIS in order to prevent such attacks and to establish a lasting peace in the world,” MSD said.
The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES) also released a statement, saying: "Such attacks against civilians are also taking place in our region. We strongly condemn the terrible terrorist attack in Moscow. On behalf of the peoples of North and East Syria, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the innocent victims, the people and the government of the Russian Federation, and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded."
