MSD's Yusif: Solution to Syrian crisis in the hands of its people

MSD Youth Office met young people to discuss latest developments in the region

The Youth Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) held a meeting in Heseke, neighbourhood of Kelas to assess the latest developments in the region.

Scores of young people attended the meeting at which MSD Women's Office President, Nujîn Yusif delivered her speech.

The meeting began with a minute silence. Yusif stressed that young people are the dynamic force of society and revolution.

She underlined that democratic autonomous administrations and peoples began to live freely thanks to the implementation of the democratic confederalism project.

Precisely for the success of the project and its implementation, said Yusif, many are the enemies of the freedom of peoples, to begin with the Turkish state, which is attacking the peoples of the region.

Yusif stated that the MSD in the talks with the Syrian regime is defending the idea and proposals of a democratic Syria in which all peoples are represented.

The MSD defends the idea that the solution to the Syrian crisis is in the hands of the people of this territory rather than foreign interventions.
