"Dimensions of the fight against ISIS and the Middle East obstacle to solidarity with Kobanê were discussed during the talks we held. Many circles want the ending of the attacks on Kobanê. We obtained a promise for logistic, military and humanitarian support."

The President of the Kobanê Canton also remarked that many circles sided with the realization of a National Congress, adding; "The Kobanê resistance has created a positive approach among all Kurdistani circles. We felt proud of this situation which I believe will have a positive influence on the future as well."

Regarding the situation of the local people in Kobanê, Müslim said ISIS gangs were now attacking civilians with mortars after suffering a defeat in the fighting with YPG forces. "Opening of a corridor for humanitarian aid still stands before us as a very important matter", he said, adding that they had also called attention to this urgent need during both the conference and talks in South Kurdistan.
