According to information obtained, a natural gas leak blew up a workplace in a ground floor flat of a building in the Bahçelievler neighbourhood of the central Haliliye district.

The explosion killed two people and injured 8 more. Medical teams and firefighters were sent to the neighbourhood where several other buildings were also damaged by the explosion.
