Newroz events were held in Freiburg, Dortmund and Aachen in Germany, and Copenhagen, Örebro and Holstebro in Denmark.
FREIBURG
In Freiburg, thousands of Kurds and their friends celebrated Newroz. After a minute of silence in memory of the Martyrs of the Revolution of Kurdistan, Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DKTM) co-chair Salih Torî made a speech.
DORTMUND
A Newroz fire was lit in Dortmund after a march was held. The Mothers of Martyrs lit the Newroz fire in the DKTM garden, while speakers underlined the importance of Newroz.

ODENSE/COPENHAGEN/HOLSTEBRO
Kurds living in Denmark celebrated Newroz in three cities, Odense, Copenhagen and Holstebro. 

KCDK-E co-chair Yüksel Koç said: "The fire lit by Mazlum Doğan, one of the leading cadres of the PKK, has become a symbol of the Kurds' day of resistance. Mazlum Doğan, who went down in Kurdish history as the 'contemporary Kawa', is celebrated by thousands in the squares of many European cities."

AACHEN
Hundreds of people gathered in Aachen to celebrate Newroz. The Kurds and their friends paid tribute to the martyrs of resistance and those who lost their lives in the Maraş-centered earthquakes.

DEN HAAG
Kurds living in Den Haag lit the Newroz fire at an event attended by hundreds of people who gathered with torches in their hands and danced around the fire.

SAARBRUCKEN
More than a thousand Kurds and their friends attended the  Newroz celebration held in Saarbrücken. The crowd marched with torches towards Landwehrplatz, and passed through the city center before reaching Bürgerpark.
