Nine minors have been taken into custody following an expansive police operation which was also joined by special operation teams in Şırnak's Cizre district last night.Police broke the doors of the the houses they raided in the Cudi and Nur neighborhoods.

Among the nine minors detained, all aged between 14 and 17, is also a child with 50 percent disability. The children were taken to police directorate while the reason for the detentions is not known yet.

On the other hand, a court in Cizre has released six people who had been taken into custody following a series of house raids on 25 November. Four among them were released pending a trial.
