NiUnaMenos has issued a statement on its Instagram account condemning the attacks carried out by Turkey in Maxmur, Shengal and Medya Defense Area.

The statement recalled how "Kurds have defied all attacks and implement their ideas of a self-determined life are being attacked once again, in violation of international law. The claim that these airstrikes against hospitals and refugee camps apparently have the approval of international forces is a declaration of war against all democratic forces."

The women's movement continued: "We strongly condemn the genocidal attacks by the Turkish state and the silence of the international community. We call on all democratic forces to put and end to the patriarchal and genocidal system and build their self-organization."
