Youths in Germany and France have occupied radio, political party and organization buildings and listed their demands.

STUTTGART

Kurdish youths developed protests against the German press silent in the face of massacres committed by the AKP in Kurdistan.

Youths in Stuttgart entered the radio station 107.7’s building in the evening hours and demanded to be allowed on the air to draw attention to massacres in Kurdistan. The radio held interviews with them with the promise to air the interview.

Dozens of police officers surrounded the building.

HAMBURG

Der Spiegel office was occupied by a group of Kurdish youths who protested German press for not covering the war declared by the AKP, and the policies of destruction and genocide that developed alongside it in Kurdistan.

Approximately 30 young people protested massacres in Kurdistan with slogans and showed their reaction towards German press. Their demand to meet with the people in charge was accepted. In the meeting, they demanded the atrocities in Kurdistan be reported in the German press. They handed over a folder on the recent process to the authorities and were promised interviews.

Demonstrators left the office chanting slogans like “Bijî Serok Apo”, “Terrorist Erdoğan”, “End Massacres in Kurdistan”.

HEILBRONN

Kurdish youths in Germany’s Helilbronn city held an occupation demonstration in CDU-Christian Democratic Union to protest the agreement between Merkel and Erdoğan.

Approximately 20 young people gathered at 17.00 and occupied the CDU building in Heilbronn to protest Europe’s dirty relations with Turkey. Carrying posters of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and a banner that read “Blood of Kurdish people is on your hands”, demonstrators chanted the slogans “Merkel finances, Erdoğan’s bombs”, “End Massacres in Kurdistan” and “Bijî Serok Apo”.

The young people ended their occupation after presenting their demands to the authorities.

PARIS

Kurdish youths in the French capital Paris occupied the Doctors Without Borders headquarters and demanded a committee of doctors be sent to İmralı prison.

The youths entered the building chanting the slogans “Freedom for Öcalan”, “Long Live the PKK”, “Murderer Erdoğan” and occupied the building for one hour. They held a sit-in in the building with PKK flags and posters of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and demanded to meet with the authorities. Demonstrators were denied at first but later the authorities agreed to meet with them. In the meeting they said they were concerned about the health of Öcalan and demanded a committee of doctors be sent to İmralı. In the demonstration, the youths also demanded committees be sent to cities of Northern Kurdistan where the AKP is resorting to massacres. The authorities told them that they would take the demands seriously and do what they can, and made an appointment for Tuesday.
