ÖHD Co-President injured during police crackdown on HDP Headquarters
Libertarian Lawyers' Association (ÖHD) Co-President was seriously injured as a result of the police crackdown on HDP members in the headquarters of the HDP in Ankara.
Libertarian Lawyers' Association (ÖHD) Co-President was seriously injured as a result of the police crackdown on HDP members in the headquarters of the HDP in Ankara.
Police forces have also raided the headquarters of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) tonight following the detention of the Co-chairs and deputies of the party as a result of simultaneous raids.
During the raid, police attacked the HDP deputies who protested the raid.
HDP Group Deputy Chair İdris Baluken was battered and taken into custody during the crackdown. The HDP members reacting to the attack were also attacked by policemen who battered many people including HDP Vice President Aysel Tuğluk and Libertarian Lawyers' Association (ÖHD) Co-President Alişan Şahin.
An ambulance has been called to the HDP Headquarters for Alişan Şahin but has not arrived yet.
In the meantime, police have blockaded the HDP Headquarters and banned entrance into and exit from the building.
