BDP parliamentary group deputy chair Pervin Buldan will go Imralı prison island to visit Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan. Buldan will go with BDP deputy İdris Baluken and HDP deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder at the weekend.

Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder had been denied permission to visit the Kurdish leader by the authorities, allegedly over his comittment on the Gezi Park resistance.

Önder has resigned from the BDP to join the newly formed HDP (Democratic People's Party). He will most probably run for mayor of Istanbul in the forthcoming local elections. He is been designated to work on the negotiation and solution process for the new party.
