YPG (People's Protection Units) Press Centre has issued a written statement providing details about an operation launched by YPG forces in Serêkaniyê region.

YPG Press Centre stated that around 100 settlement areas including villages and hamlets have been liberated from ISIS gangs as result of the operation around the village of Alya, to the west of Til Temir and south of Serêkaniyê.

YPG said their forces have also seized a vehicle as well as arms and munitions belonging to gangs.
