The Operation Cizire Storm launched on September 9 by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to the north of Deir ez-Zor continues on its 69th day.

Last night, fighters liberated the El Teyan village 8 km to the east of the Mayadin province and Ishnan village 10 km to the east.

Intense clashes broke out in the villages between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs. 5 ISIS members were killed in the clashes while one DHSK laden vehicle was destroyed and an explosive laden vehicle was confiscated by the SDF.

The Mayadin province is 45 km to the east of Deir ez-Zor.
