Operation on Rawa, the last city ISIS holds in Iraq

The Iraqi army has launched an operation on the Rawa town center in the Anbar province, which is the last stronghold of ISIS in Iraq.

The Iraqi Conflict Press Center issued a written statement in the morning and announced that the Iraqi army has launched an operation to take the Rawa town center in the Anbar province from ISIS.

The Iraqi army had launched an operation one week ago to clear the surroundings of the Rawa town and residential areas in the vicinity of the town had been cleared of gangs.

This morning, the Iraqi forces launched the operation on the town center. Rawa is known as the last city under ISIS invasion in Iraq.
