According to a statement made by HDP Press Office, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) delegation of Long Term Observers that continues its talks in Turkey and plans to meet with all presidential candidates for June 24 elections, has visited HDP candidate Selahattin Demirtaş in Edirne Prison on Tuesday.

The OSCE committee is the first foreign delegation to meet with Demirtaş in prison with the permission of Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The statement said that Demirtaş conveyed to the OSCE delegation his opinions and assessments regarding his ongoing imprisonment and the rights violations faced by the HDP and opposition in the election process.
