Over 948 aftershocks in Elazig, 21 serious
Over 948 aftershocks followed Elazig 6.8 magnitude earthquake. The number of victims reached 39.
After the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that shook Elazig on 25 January, the number of aftershocks approached one thousand.
Search and rescue efforts continued around the debris. So far 39 people lost their lives and 607 people were injured.
After the earthquake there have been 21 serious aftershocks out of a total of over 948.
