In the panels organised by Helsinki Kurdistan Solidarity Network together with Rosebud Bookstore and Anarchist Black Cross Collective in Turku, it was emphasised that the Imrali isolation is unacceptable.

Rengin Ergül from the lawyers' organisations ÖHD and MAF-DAD gave information on the legal situation and isolation of Abdullah Öcalan and drew attention to the Right to Hope for Abdullah Öcalan under Article 3 of the ECHR on the prevention of torture. In addition, Martí Ódena from the Academy of Democratic Modernity said that the situation of the Kurdish leader is not independent of the general situation of the Kurdish people, the policies of annihilation and complicity of the international powers.

Representatives of left-wing organisations in Finland also took part in the discussions.
