Peace Mothers on hunger strike against court ruling

Peace Mothers Assembly Spokesperson Kudret Eryılmaz has announced at a press conference in the main Kurdish city Amed that activists of the Assembly have launched two-day hunger strike to protest the denial of release of five jailed MPs of the BDP (Peace and Democracy Party).

Eryılmaz said their hunger strike will end following a press conference on 26 December when -he added- they will go to the village of Roboski, in Şırnak's Uludere district, to display solidarity with the families of 34 victims of the Roboski massacre, most of whom were children.

Eryılmaz also condemned the Roboski, Paris and Gever massacres.
