Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced with a statement on his Twitter account that the number of coronavirus cases has increased to 47.
Koca wrote: "Today 29 new cases have been detected, bringing the total number of people who proved positive to the coronavirus to 47. All of the last 29 cases are directly or indirectly linked to the USA, the Middle East and Europe, 3 of them returned from Umrah. Overseas contact will continue to be a risk. Let's apply the measures tightly."
The last official statement, only a few hours ago, had said that the number of cases was 18.
