Iraqi Armed Forces Supreme Commander and Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi made a statement about the ISIS presence in Iraq, and announced that the country has been fully cleared of ISIS.

Speaking at the “International Media Conference” organized by Iraqi Journalists’ Association in Baghdad, Abadi said they have gained full control at Iraq-Syria border and added; “The battle against ISIS has ended. The enemy wanted to destroy our civilisation but we have triumphed thanks to our unity and determination.”
