Police arrest 8 Enerji-Sen workers in Ankara at sit-in

Workers members the Electricity, Gas, Water, Dam Workers' Union (Enerji-Sen) affiliated with the Turkish Revolutionary Workers' Unions Confederation (DİSK) held a sit-in in front of the Başkent Electricity General Directorate to protest their dismissal.
Police attacked the workers and detained 8 people, including Enerji-Sen chairman Süleyman Keskin.
The detained workers have been named as follows: “Süleyman Keskin, Mehmet Oğuz, Mehmet Ali İçcere, Osman Çokaman, Erdal Şener, Bekir Bayatlı, Özgür Bozkurt, Zarife Çalaman.”
