Police attack against protestors in Ankara continues

Clashes broke out once again between police and protestors who took to the streets in the capital city Ankara in solidarity with the Gezi Park protest which has entered 13th day on Sunday.

Thousands in the capital gathered at Güven Park in the central Kızılay Square Saturday afternoon, chanting the slogan "Taksim is everywhere, resistance is everywhere".

Police attacked the mass with riot control vehicles as protetors refused to disperse and to leave the square. Many people were reported wounded and at least three detained as a result of the police attack.

Around five thousand people were attacked by police as they later started a march from Tunalı Hilmi street late evening. Police used intense tear gas and pressure water against protestors. Clashes lasted till midnight.
