The police in Amed have attacked protestors marching after a demonstration for 1 November World Kobanê Day.

Following the attack by police on the crowd marching towards Emek Street with gas bombs and water cannons, clashes broke out between the youth and the police.

While police fired rubber bullets and gas bombs, targeting people on their balconies, 2 people were also detained. The police are reported to be arresting anyone they find in the side streets as clashes continue.
