French police have attacked the hunger strike launched by the Shengal Diaspora Assembly with demands that Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan be contacted immediately and Shengal’s status be recognized.

The hunger strike preparation committee issued a call inviting Kurds to the La Trés-Sainte-Trinité Church which is hosting the hunger strike.
