Police attacked demonstration in Beytüþþebap

People took to the streets in Beytüþþebap district of Þýrnak to protest the prohibition of PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan's meeting with his lawyers for 45 days. Police attacked the crowd and gendarmerie entered the district center as a result of the demonstrations.

During the protest organized by the Kato Initiative for Revenge, thousands of demonstrators blocked the roads to Tatar, Elki, Karþýyaka Districts and Cumhuriyet Street.

A clash broke out and police attacked the demonstrators with gas bombs.

While demonstrators responded to police with stones, gendarmerie units entered the district center.

Police and soldiers took the control of in-and out of the district during the demonstrations which lasted till late hours at night.
