Thousands of people marching across Bosphorus bridge to join the Taksim protest have been attacked by police using intense tear gas. The mass has closed one side of the bridge to traffic as they took their way to Taksim Square to protest the brutal police attacks continuing since the evening.

Reports say gendarme also joining police against protestors around Taksim.

German Hospital, Divan Hotel and metro stations are among the spots targeted by the riot police and excessive tear gas.

Clashes between police and protestors in Adana are also continuing. Many people are reported wounded and detained as a result of the severe intervention in Atatürk Park.
