Police intervene the journalists at HDP’s vigil in Istanbul

Turkish police maintain their intolerance towards the ‘Justice and Conscience Vigil’ launched by the HDP in Yoğurtçu Park, Istanbul 6 days ago.

The ‘Justice and Conscience Vigil’ launched by the HDP in Istanbul’s Yoğurtçu Park continues in its last day under the siege of police forces since the very first day. Police continue creating obstacles for those wishing to visit the deputies joining the vigil.

According to reports, the journalists covering the vigil have been forcibly driven out of the park, and HDP deputies that tried to obstruct the forced eviction of the journalists were subjected to verbal attack by the police.

The one-week vigil, that was launched in Amed last week and continued in Istanbul this week, will be handed over to a new group in Van province following a press statement Sunday evening.
