Turkish police conducted an operation, purportedly against DHKP-C (Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front) in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece district last night.

18 years old Sıla Abalay who is claimed to have engaged in a clash with the police was murdered during the raid. While Abalay's body was taken to Forensic Medicine Institute, two other people were taken into custody.
