Police occupied HDP building, hanged Turkish flag!
Police entered and raided the HDP Kocaeli province and district buildings and hung the Turkish flag on them. Many people were detained in the new political police operations.
Police held simultaneous political genocide operations early this morning in the center and districts of Kocaeli.
HDP Kocaeli Provincial co-chair Leyla Aygun, HDP Party Assembly member Mehmet Yalçınkaya and a large number of people, including Engün Güleser and district co-chairs were taken into custody.
HDP Provincial Treasurer Irfan Demirkaya was detained in his house by police and then taken to the HDP provincial building, where a search was carried out. A laptop computer and 3 desktop computers were seized.
A Turkish flag was put in the HDP building appointments board.
The detainees were taken to Kocaeli Police Department.
The names of the people taken into custody are as follows.
