Police operation targets HDP in Istanbul
One day before the elections the police has launched a new operation targeting the HDP in Istanbul. Reports said 32 people have been taken into custody following raids in 127 homes.
Police carried out the raid of 127 houses in Istanbul and has taken into custody many people including a HDP municipal councillor and observers.
The 32 people taken into custody were taken to the Istanbul Provincial Security Directorate.
The people detained were: Ümit Bayram, Fatih Gündüz, Mehmet Şah Akgül, Gökhan Özer, Recep Kar, Azad Kaplan, Hüseyin Kayra, Özcan Gokcur, Kadir Kaya, Sacit Tunç, Dinçer Yalın, Murat Aranır, Lokman Akıncı, Süleyman Demir, Mine. Hero, Mehmet Sirin Balos, Ozlem Erbas, Mizgin Akman, Turgay Turak, Sinan Yildiz, Umut Caken, Serhildan Tasdemir, Azat Tasdemir, Mahsum Akpinar, Ramazan Tilbac, Cemal Kumicen, Hulya Ilbars, Enis Yigit, Baris Piranoglu, Irfan Kaya , Mahmut Dogan.
