In the early hours of the morning a new political genocide operation was carried out, involving searches of the homes of many people, including members of the People's Democratic Party (HDP) in Amed, Urfa, Şırnak and Antalya,

AMED

The home of HDP District co-chair Zülküf Birgül was raided in Amed's Ergani district. The police broke the door of the house. It was learned that Birgül was not at home during the raid.

As the raid was being carried out, police cordoned off the HDP Provincial Organization building.

URFA

Many houses were raided in Urfa. Peace Mother Hadle Oğur and her husband Cebrail Oğur, Peace Mother Meyaser Kokmaz and Ömer Bozdal were detained in the raids.

The 4 were taken to the Provincial Police Department.

ŞIRNAK

Arif Geren, Cemal Geren, Idris Kayaalp and Zindan Molo were taken into custody as a result of the political genocide operations carried out in Cizre, Şırnak. It was stated that the number of detentions may increase.

The detainees are being held at the Provincial Police Department.

ANTALYA

Halil Kılıcı was taken into custody after house raids in Antalya.
