Police raided many houses in the morning hours in Dersim, Istanbul and Hatay. The police also raided the office of Yeni Demokrasi Newspaper in Dersim and confiscated the newspaper archives and books. Yeni Demokrasi journalist Ertan Çıta and a person calle Hıdır Güler were taken into custody in Dersim.

According to the paper, at least 9 people, including Partizan readers, were taken into custody in 3 provinces. It was stated that there were arrest warrants for many people. Those detained in Dersim will be taken to Istanbul.

Some of the people taken into custody were named as follows: Ertan Çıta, Ali Asker Akkoç, Nihat Konak, Aysel Kaya, Nesimi Ataş.
