Police forces stormed several houses in Istanbul this morning in the scope of an investigation launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Religious Scholars Association (DİAY-DER) chairperson Ekrem Baran and Democratic Islamic Congress (DİK) member Mehmet Nas are among those taken into custody.

Ekrem Baran was taken to the gendarmerie station in Maslak.
