An IED explosion hit a prison service vehicle in Izmir, early Thursday morning. Local media reported that the device was planted inside a waste container on the side of the road.

According to Turkish officials, 8 were wounded, in the attack. One wounded said to be in critical condition.

Minuted after the attack dozens of ambulances and policemen rushed and cordoned off the area.
