Speaking to DIHA News Agency about the issue, Sait Demir's father Emin Demir said that his son "and his friend Mesut Demir, who are in Tekirdağ 2 No F Type Prison for 4 years, had been suffering harassment and  torture on the hands of prison guards after the hunger strike they carried out in 2012.

Emin Demir said he was not able to visit his son as there is a ban on visits.
