Prisoners enter 79th day of hunger strike against isolation

PKK and PAJK prisoners entered the 79th day of hunger strike against isolation.

PKK and PAJK prisoners started an indefinite and alternated hunger strike on 27 November 2020 demanding the end of the isolation imposed on Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has been held in Imrali High Security F-Type Closed Prison for 22 years. The prisoners also demand the end of the increasing violations of rights in jail. The prisoners have entered their 79th day of hunger strike and the fast has being taken over by the 16th group of inmates.
