The cells of the prisoners on hunger strike for 39 days at the T3 section of Şakran Prison were raided last night.

A prisoner named Özgür Güçlü described last night's events to his family over the phone and said that nearly 50 gendarme officers raided the cells and tortured prisoners last night. Later, the prison ward came to the cells and threatened the prisoners, saying: "You will get what you deserve. What have we done to you to make you launch the hunger strike? We will raid the cells at night."

Moreover, Güçlü demanded that lawyers and officials intervene in the situation as soon as possible.
