The Trade Unions and Trade Unionist Pro-sovereignty Forum condemned the new bombings of Kurdistan by Turkey and Iran .
The Forum of pro-sovereignty Trade Unions and Trade Unionists issued a statement to condemn the new bombings by Turkey and Iran against the Kurdish population.
The statement said: "In recent days, Turkey and Iran have again attacked Kurdistan, bombing both the civilian population of the Kurdish territory of Rojava and the territories of Iranian Kurdistan.
The bombings have targeted civilians, and have destroyed hospitals and other basic public services."
The statement added: "The different Kurdish organisations keep up a struggle against the colonialist occupation by these states and in defence of the liberation of Kurdistan.
The attacks against the Kurdish people, against the freedom and democracy built on the ruins created by colonialism and capitalism continue today, and these bombings of Turkey are a new example of this. The so-called Kurdish issue presents itself as one of the most complex and violent conflicts in the Middle East, and it remains an unresolved conflict. It is a conflict that also requires condemnation of the Turkish dictatorship and the violence perpetrated by the Turkish state, and other states in the region, against the Kurdish people."
For all these reasons, the Forum of Pro-Sovereignty Trade Unions and Trade Unionists declared: "We denounce the continued bombing of the Kurdish people and we call for an immediate end to these attacks.
We demand a policy that puts an end to the suffering and oppression of the Kurdish people.
We demand the articulation of a peace process that guarantees a negotiated solution to the conflict.
We demand the release of Kurdish political prisoners.
We demand that the Kurdish people be allowed to decide their future freely and that their democratic rights will be respected."
