Prohibitions before Istanbul elections began

The prohibitions before the election for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which will be repeated on 23 June after the AKP and YSK coup, have begun.

Election bans will end at 00.00 on the day of voting.
 
Political parties and independent candidates participating in the election, can continue their electoral campaign in the press and advertisements in printed media or by opening web sites.
 
It is forbidden to make verbal propaganda on public roads during the election period, in public places, temples, public buildings and facilities and district election boards.
 
Among the prohibitions are: “Verbal propaganda is prohibited in open places. 
Surveys should state the organization which carried them out, the number of people involved, and who financed them.
